1. License plate
Electric motorcycles belong to the category of motor vehicles and must be licensed according to law. Vehicles must be registered within 30 days after purchase and have legal license plates. Unlicensed vehicles will face fines, vehicle seizures, or even detention.
2. Driver's license
Electric motorcycles: For a maximum design speed of more than 50 km/h, a Class E driver's license is required.
Electric mopeds: For a maximum design speed of between 25-50 km/h, a Class F driver's license is required.
Electric tricycles: A Class D driver's license is required.
3. Driving license
The vehicle also needs a driving license, which is an important proof for the vehicle to be legally on the road.
4. Other requirements
Age limit: You must be 18 years old to drive an electric motorcycle.
Safety helmet: You must wear a safety helmet when driving and riding an electric motorcycle.
Illegal modification is prohibited: Vehicles must not be illegally modified, such as removing speed limiters, modifying motors, or adding parasols.
