1. Electric mopeds:
No passengers: Electric mopeds (speeds between 25-50 km/h) are not allowed to carry any passengers.
2. Electric motorcycles:
Can carry 1 adult: Electric motorcycles (speeds greater than 50 km/h) are allowed to carry an adult over 12 years old.
No children under 12 years old: Electric motorcycles are not allowed to carry minors under 12 years old.
3. Electric bicycles:
Can carry 1 child under 12 years old: Electric bicycles (speeds not exceeding 25 km/h) can carry a minor under 12 years old.
Children under 6 years old must be equipped with safety seats: If carrying children under 6 years old, a child safety seat must be equipped.
Violation penalties
Overloading of electric bicycles: Carrying minors over 12 years old or overloading will be fined 20 yuan.
Carrying passengers on electric mopeds: Illegal carrying of passengers will be fined 50 yuan.
Illegal carrying of passengers on electric motorcycles: Carrying children under 12 years old or other violations will be fined 50-200 yuan.
