Preparation Before Charging
1. Environment Selection: Always charge in a well-ventilated, dry, and cool place, away from flammable materials and enclosed spaces. The optimal temperature is around 25℃; do not charge at high or low temperatures.
2. Equipment Inspection: Use an original or certified charger and check for loose or damaged interfaces. Disconnect the power before plugging or unplugging, and ensure the plug is firmly inserted.
3. Battery Status: Do not rush to charge immediately after riding; wait 30 minutes for the battery to cool down before starting. Charge when the battery level is below 20%, do not wait until it is completely depleted.
Charging Operation
1. Correct Procedure: Connect the battery first, then plug in the power source. Do not cover the charger while charging; maintain heat dissipation.
2. Time Control: Lead-acid batteries generally require 6-8 hours, lithium batteries 4-6 hours, do not exceed 12 hours. For fast charging, do not exceed 1 hour; charge to 80%.
3. Full Monitoring: Pay attention to the charger indicator light and battery temperature; stop charging if abnormally hot.
Post-Charging Care:
1. Prompt Power Disconnection: Disconnect the power immediately after full charge to avoid overcharging. Unplug the charger first, then disconnect the power.
2. Regular Maintenance: If not used for a long period, charge the battery once a month to maintain a charge level of approximately 50%.
Safety Precautions:
1. Charging is strictly prohibited indoors, in stairwells, or in fire escape routes. Do not illegally connect extension cords or use "flying wires" for charging.
2. Keep away from flammable materials and maintain a safe distance while charging.
3. Replace bulging or leaking batteries promptly; do not modify them yourself.
