1. Maintain the proper power
Storage power: When not in use for a long time, it is recommended to maintain the battery power at 30%-50%. If the battery power is completely exhausted, it may cause the battery to enter a deep discharge state and cannot be recharged.
Charge regularly: Even if not used, the battery will discharge naturally. It is recommended to charge the battery every 1-2 months to maintain the activity of the battery.
2. Storage conditions
Cool and dry: Store the electric scooter in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place, avoid direct sunlight or high temperature environment. Extreme temperatures will accelerate battery aging.
Avoid moisture: A humid environment may cause battery corrosion, affecting its performance and life.
3. Cleaning and inspection
Cleaning the battery: Clean the surface of the battery regularly to remove dust and dirt to avoid corrosion.
Check the appearance: Check whether the battery has signs of swelling, deformation or damage. If any abnormality is found, it should be replaced immediately.
4. Use the original charger
Matching charger: Use the original charger or the charger that matches the battery for charging, and avoid using inferior chargers.
Correct operation: When charging, connect the battery terminal first, then plug in the power plug; after charging is complete, unplug the power plug first, then unplug the battery terminal.
5. Other precautions
Avoid fast charging: Fast charging may shorten the battery life, and it is recommended to use the normal charging mode.
Low temperature environment: If stored in a low temperature environment, the performance and capacity of the battery may decrease, but it will usually return to normal after the temperature rises.
